The Conference venues are located in the city of Temuco, the regional capital, which borders the Geopark on its northern boundary, we are at the gateway to the Geopark.
Its location is in a natural environment, with architecture that blends the culture and identity of the region and the immediate landscape of the Kütralkura Geopark with its presence of volcanoes and communities.
The infrastructure of the Catholic University of Temuco has an important distribution of auditoriums, halls, dining rooms and study spaces to accommodate more than 12,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The auditorium, halls and rooms allow for the simultaneous participation of more than 1,200 people, hosting all the parallel sessions that make up the Conference programme.
There are also spaces to set up stands for trade fairs and local exhibitions.
There will be free wifi access and parking spaces for public and private transport.
The city has a good level of hotels, gastronomy, transport, entertainment, and security. These are concentrated within a 5 km radius, all very close to the essential services of the city (Hospital, Banks, Commerce, Government Services) and 10 minutes from the Congress Headquarters, the Catholic University of Temuco.

The availability of 5 to 3 star standard hotels covers the demand for an event of over 1,200 people. In addition, there is a wide range of Apart Hotels, Hostels and tourist flats that are located in close proximity to the Conference facilities and locations.

Attendees will be supported by a team of hosts, who will provide personal assistance to all participants if required.
A number of hosts per country will be assigned, this team will be made up of young people from the network of Geopark volunteers, undergraduate students of technical education and university students. All of them speak English.
Mobile information points will be available in areas close to the hotels, on the campus of the conference venue and at the international airport of La Araucanía. We have planned to work with at least 200 young people from our network as hosts.
The weather during September in Kütralkura UGGp and in Temuco, is generally warm, with average daytime temperatures between 12° and 19°. The average number of rainy days has been only 9 days in last September’s experiences.
